My artwork moves like the seasons—not because it simply changes, but because it embraces the unpredictable, shifting with a vivid momentum of its own. As both an active salsa dancer and a lifelong enthusiast of Michael Jackson's music, rhythm is the foundational pulse of everything I create. Just as a dancer responds to a complex syncopation or a brilliant bassline, I look for a distinct, physical cadence in my visual art, allowing the work to dictate its own steps and lead its own path.

 

Sometimes the creative process leaves me feeling cold and unmotivated as I struggle to pin down a rigid purpose; other times, it lifts me up with the absolute freedom of choice. I navigate these emotional highs and lows by building patterns and organic shapes that establish a natural, fluid pacing within my personal creative space. My art is where colors dance, intertwine, and form unexpected relationships. Ultimately, my work is a living extension of who I am—it captures my joy, my discomfort, my growth, and my core identity. To possess the agility to listen to a piece and follow the specific rhythm it calls for is the ultimate skill I constantly seek to master.
